How do you teach a child the lost of art of compassion? By living it! This project hopes to bring awareness & realization to a thoughtful, young boy of the suffering and joy that exist throughout our world. My son and I will attempt to visit a new country each year, hopefully traveling to all 7 continents, where we will volunteer in a meaningful way. The goal is to broaden Jaxon's horizons on life and living compassionately and to recognize the oneness of all beings. Join us!
I remember watching the leaf cutter ants in the jungle when we were there. We watched them carring leaves for 30 to 40 yards away. What the heck do they do with the leaves?? Watch out for those caterpillers. Some of the fuzzy ones will sting if you touch them!
ReplyDeleteI do not remember seeing many or any snakes when we were there. We did see a few green basilisks (also known as the Jesus Christ lizard because of its ability to walk on water) They are very cool looking. I hope you are keeping a journal of all the wildlife you are seeing.
Love you guys
Bill
